Summary: Our reviews are editorial analysis built on documented official sources — with consistent comparison criteria and honest limits about what we can verify.
1. How we build our reviews
Every article on AlaabTrend starts from a real question readers search for: is this app worth installing? Which option fits my use case? What are the alternatives? We build the article around that question with a clear editorial angle instead of listing generic features.
Our goal is that you leave the article with a clear decision — not a spec sheet copied from a store page.
2. Evaluation and comparison criteria
When we compare or evaluate apps and games, we apply consistent criteria:
- Performance: how smoothly it runs and its device requirements as documented by the developer and official store pages.
- Ease of use: interface clarity, how quickly core functions are reachable, and the learning curve.
- Features: what the product actually offers on its free and paid plans, and the limits of each.
- Compatibility: officially supported platforms (Android, iOS, web, desktop).
When we use a superlative like “best,” we always qualify it with a specific criterion and a specific audience — “best for low-end devices,” never an absolute “best.”
3. Our sources
We rely on official sources only:
- Official product listings on Google Play, the App Store, and other stores
- Developer and publisher websites and documentation
- Official company announcements and blogs
We never cite unofficial download mirrors or unknown sources, and we never link to anything but official destinations. Download links on our pages pass an automated liveness and authenticity check before publishing.
4. The limits of our testing — honestly
Our reviews are editorial analysis built on documented data from official sources — we do not claim to run lab tests on physical devices for every app or game we cover.
When we cannot verify a claim from an official source, we omit it or phrase it with clear hedging — we never invent it. Volatile claims (prices, free-plan limits, figures) are registered internally and periodically re-verified.
5. Editorial review and quality control
Every article goes through editorial review before publishing, including:
- Verification of stated claims against official sources
- Review of article structure, clarity, and usefulness for the reader
- Rejection of fabricated first-hand experience claims and of content that violates advertising or publisher safety policies
We do not publish misleading promotional copy, unofficial download destinations, or policy-violating framing.
6. Update and correction policy
- We periodically re-verify volatile information (prices, plan limits, availability) and update articles when needed.
- If we discover a material error, we correct it promptly and update the article's last-modified date.
